Where is Alexandra Palace and how do I get there?

Situated between Muswell Hill and Wood Green, Alexandra Park is well served by public transport and is easy to reach by underground, road and rail. There are multiple entrance gates across the Park. Gate 2 (at Alexandra Palace rail station) tends to be very busy and queues can be expected. Where possible we recommend that you use Gate 6 (located opposite the junction of Muswell Hill and Priory Road) which tends to be less busy and is and is accessible by multiple bus routes.

By Tube;

Wood Green is the nearest underground station on the Piccadilly Line and is 15 minutes from Kings Cross. It’s a 20 minute walk from Wood Green station to Alexandra Palace. The W3 will be on diversion and will not be calling at Alexandra Palace. You can check train times and bus diversions at tfl.gov.uk

By Rail;

Alexandra Palace has its own main line station fittingly called Alexandra Palace which is located on the east side of the Park. Regular trains run from Kings Cross Station and Finsbury Park and head north towards Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City. For up to date travel advice click here.

By Car;

We strongly advise that you leave the car at home and take public transport. There is no public parking available in or around Alexandra Palace and there will be numerous parking restrictions and road closures in place.

Access parking is available, though strictly limited. Allocated parking tickets are available when purchasing your access ticket. You will need to bring both tickets and your blue badge when reporting to the designated parking area shown on your ticket. Please note due to crowd congestion the car park will be closed between 6pm and 8.45pm on both days. For your satnav, the postcode is N22 7AY

Getting Home;

Please note that the last train from Alexandra Palace station leaves at around Midnight. Please check train times ahead of travelling to ensure that you can get home safely. You can check train times at tfl.gov.uk
