Is the event accessible?

We welcome visitors with disabilities to The NEC for BBC Gardeners’ World Live. For information about wheelchair and scooter hire, parking, assistance dogs and more, please read our Accessibility & Assistance page.

 

Any visitor who is registered disabled is able to claim a free ticket for a carer to accompany them to the Show. Carer tickets can be added at the time of your booking. When making your booking simply add an essential carer ticket on for each of the visitors with registered accessibility requirements. Please bring proof of eligibility with you to show on arrival such as a Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter.

 

A carer ticket accompanying a VIP ticket holder will not receive all of the extra benefits in the VIP package. However carers who require the full package will pay a reduced rate.

 

Wheelchair seats and carer seats are available to book in the Theatre. Please add these when making your booking.  A sign language interpreter will be present in the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre on set days and times. Please check back soon to find out the timings.

 

Induction loops are fitted to Ticket sales points, Information points, all show feature demonstration areas and the Organisers’ Office., ticket office, Big Kitchen, BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine Stage and the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre.
