How do I get to the Black Deer Festival?

By Car - Use postcode TN3 9HS and then pick up the signs to the Black Deer Festival public car park. You can add a parking pass at the time of booking.

 

Car & motorcycle parking - Day, Weekend and dedicated Motor Cycle Parking will be available at the Festival. Discounted advance parking is now available here.

 

Pick Up and Drop off - The festival pick up / drop off point is located in the public car park at Red Gate. This is the point to head to if you are getting a lift or arriving by Taxi. Please DO NOT DROP OFF ON THE ROAD as this causes delays and is dangerous to other road users and yourself!

 

Taxi - There is a taxi rank outside Tunbridge Wells Station and costs approximately £20 to the site postcode (TN3 9HS). Two 24/7 taxi companies to use are TW Station Cars (01892457979) or Tunbridge Wells Taxi (01892535535). Taxis have been instructed to use the designated Pick Up Drop Off point at Red Gate within the festival site.

 

Shuttle Bus - Go green and use the festivals shuttle bus running between Tunbridge Wells Train Station and the festival. Tickets are £5.00 for a return journey which is payable in cash or card at the festival bus stop.
 

Thursday 16th June:
Station to festival – First Bus (15:00) | Last Bus (21:00).
 
Friday 17th June:
Station to festival – First Bus (09:00) | Last Bus (20:00).
Festival to Station – First Bus (20:00) | Last Bus (02:00).
 
Saturday 18th June:
Station to festival – First Bus (09:00) | Last Bus (20:00).
Festival to Station – First Bus (20:00) | Last Bus (02:00).
 
Sunday 19th June:
Station to festival – First Bus (09:00) | Last Bus (20:00).
Festival to Station – First Bus (20:00) | Last Bus (00:30).
 
Monday 20th June:
Festival to Station – First Bus (07:00) | Last Bus (12:30).

 

Train - Use Tunbridge Wells Train station. Trains run regularly to this station and then it’s just a short bus or taxi ride to the festival site. Tunbridge Wells railway station operates services to various London main line stations (London Bridge, Cannon Street, Waterloo East, Charing Cross) and in the other direction, to Hastings. Please do not use Eridge Station as there is no access to/from the festival site. For the latest updates and live train times please check www.nationalrail.co.uk.

 

Coaches - Any privately organised coaches or mini buses can only park by prior arrangement please contact info@blackdeerfestival.com if you wish to discuss parking for a private coach or mini bus.

 

Cycling - We have a cycling storage area onsite where you can lock your bikes. Please note that all bikes are left at the owners risk. Bicycles are not allowed in the Arena or Campsites.
