How do I get to the Long Road Festival?

BY CAR & MOTORBIKE - The Long Road is easily accessible from the M1 and M6. Please switch off your sat nav and follow festival directional road signage as you approach the festival. We have onsite parking available. You can buy tickets in advance on our ticket page or pay in cash when you arrive. Follow the festival car park signs when you arrive. Please note, you cannot park by your tent (except in Pitch and Park) and you cannot stay in a vehicle in the car park overnight.

 

BY PICK UP/DROP-OFF/TAXI -  There will be a Pick Up and Drop Off Point located in the car park. Please note that Taxis can be tricky to source around Lutterworth, please always book in advance. If you are arriving/departing by taxi, please ask your driver to follow the festival directional road signage for taxis. When you leave the festival and are looking for your taxi, please follow signage to the official taxi rank.

 

BY TRAIN - The nearest train station to The Long Road is Rugby Station. There are direct line trains with journey times under an hour from London Euston and Birmingham New Street. From Friday to Monday the Festival Bus will run a return service from Rugby Station to the festival.

 

BY SHUTTLE BUS - Shuttle Bus tickets are available to purchase on our ticket page. The shuttle bus runs a return service from Rugby Station to The Long Road Festival from Friday to Monday. We also offer an option to pre-book a bus from Lutterworth to the festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The pick-up point for Lutterworth will be the car park next to Travelodge Lutterworth on Rugby Rd. Journeys from Lutterworth must be booked in advance, and if there are bookings, the bus departing Rugby will travel via Lutterworth to collect passengers on its way to the festival. Please note, Lutterworth bus tickets can only be pre-purchased and it will not be possible to buy a ticket at the Lutterworth pick-up point. All bus tickets will come off sale on our ticket page the evening before they are due to run. The direct one-way journey time from Rugby Station is approximately 20 mins and 35 mins via Lutterworth. From Lutterworth, the journey time is approximately 15 mins. All buses are wheelchair accessible. Please pre-purchase tickets to guarantee your space and enable us to ensure the service meets demand.

Friday/Monday

Return buses depart from Rugby Station on Friday at 10.30am, 12midday, 2.45pm and 4.30pm and return from the festival on Monday at 8am, 10am or 12midday.

 

Friday

Buses depart from Rugby Station on Friday at 2.45pm and 4.30pm and Lutterworth at 3.05pm and 4.50pm and depart from the festival on an hourly basis from 10.30pm to 2.30am. Seats are first come first served.

Single buses depart from the festival on an hourly basis from 10.30pm to 2.30am. Seats are first come first served.

 

Saturday

Buses depart from Rugby Station on Saturday at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm and Lutterworth at 10.20am, 11.50am, 1.50pm and 3.20pm and depart from the festival on an hourly basis from 8.30pm to 2.30am. Seats are first come first served.

Single buses depart from the festival on an hourly basis from 8.30pm to 2.30am. Seats are first come first served.

 

Sunday

Buses depart from Rugby Station on Sunday at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm and Lutterworth at 10.20am, 11.50am, 1.50pm and 3.20pm depart from the festival on an hourly basis from 8.30pm to 1.30am. Seats are first come first served.

 

Single buses depart from the festival on an hourly basis from 8.30pm to 1.30am. Seats are first come first served.

 

Our staff at Rugby Station will be able to take cash sales on the day. However, to ensure that you have a guaranteed seat on the bus, we advise you to buy your tickets online in advance so that we can adequately plan the service to meet demand at peak times. Please note, Lutterworth bus tickets can only be pre-purchased and it will not be possible to buy a ticket at the Lutterworth pick-up point.

 

If you do arrive at Rugby Station without a ticket or outside of the time that your ticket is valid for, our stewards will try to assist you but you may have to wait for a bus with space available.

 

BY BIKE - We provide an area for cyclists to lock up their bikes at the entrance to the festival free of charge. Please note, these are left at your own risk.
