How do I get to the Sundown Festival?

BY CAR - If you are travelling to the Sundown Festival from the North, Sundown is situated just off the A47, Norwich Southern Bypass at the A1074 junction (Longwater Interchange). From the South, when travelling to Norwich via the A11 from London or the A140 from Ipswich, take the A47 bypass westwards. Please switch off your sat nav and follow festival directional road signage as you approach the festival.

BY DROP-OFF/TAXI - The Pick-up & Drop-off Point for campers on Friday and Monday is located at the bottom of the event car parks off Dereham Road. Please follow signs for Camping. The Public Pick-up & Drop-off for day tickets or campers arriving on Saturday and or Sunday is located just off the roundabout before the Premier Inn. Once dropped off, follow signs and stewards for the event entrance. There will be a full road closure on Dereham Road at the end of the night and on exit you will be directed back along Dereham Road to the Pick-up & Drop Off area. Please follow signs for Day Pick-up & Drop-off. The Taxi Pick-up & Drop-off is located just behind the area for public cars in the Day Pick Up & Drop Off area, just off Dereham Road. Taxi companies have been advised that they must use the Pick-up & Drop-off area so please do not arrange to be picked up from elsewhere. At the end of the night on Saturday and Sunday there will be a full road closure on Dereham Road plus other Traffic Management measures in place elsewhere. Any vehicles trying to pick-up from outside the designated areas will cause a public safety issue and will be moved on, so please use the designated facilities and do not do not ask for or accept a pick-up elsewhere. We also ask you not to use the Longwater Retail Park (including Sainsbury’s). There is not a safe walking route and our facilities are quick and easy to use so it’s not worth risking your safety!

BY TRAIN - Norwich Railway Station is situated 5 miles from the festival. Now with our shuttle buses, it has never been so easy to take the train. Direct Shuttle buses to and from the Norwich Train station will be operating. 2023 Schedule coming soon!

BY SHUTTLE BUS  - Direct shuttle buses to and from Norwich Train station will be operating throughout the weekend. Only a 30 min journey to the festival with no stops on the way. It couldn’t be any easier. 2023 schedule coming soon!

ON FOOT - Unless you are walking from Easton (which is the village next to the showgrounds) we ask you not to walk to the event on foot as the roads are busy and there are no footpaths, so it’s not safe. We especially ask you not to use Longwater Retail Park to be picked-up or dropped-off; our on site facilities for Buses, Taxi’s and Public Pick-up & Drop-off are well set up and clearly sign posted so it’s quicker, easier and safer for you to use those.
